Job Description
The Business Development Consultant is responsible for management, coordination, acquisition and retention of the firm’s business in accordance with the Firm’s Business Development Strategic Plan. The role holder will be responsible for forging and enforcing effective and lasting relationships with the Firm’s clients and business partners.
Key Responsibilities
Identifying new business opportunities and fostering existing relationships.
Formulating, designing and implementing the Firm’s Business Development Strategic Plan in coordination with the Partnership.
Building and maintaining a qualified pipeline of new opportunities.
Developing a business development tool-kit.
Implement a training strategy.
Delivering Firm presentations.
Maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions including business intelligence, industry issues, needs and trends.
Qualifications & Requirements
An undergraduate qualification in business, marketing, law or related field.
Experience working with a law firm is an added advantage.
Good oral and written communications skills.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Positive attitude, self-motivated, self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
Good negotiation and networking skills.
Passionate, confident, energetic and proactive.
Leadership skills.
Integrity.
Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships, presentations, writing proposals, and managing executive relationships.
Availability and willingness to travel.
